Since drunks in Santa suits seem to be dead set on turning Christmas in New York into a vomit-strewn, red-nosed reprise of St Patty's Day in December, this year turned out to be a tipping point in the brotastic celebration of Santacon.
Gawker reports that the NYPD stepped up their presence at the East Village pub crawl, and gave out at least 10 summonses by early morning. So maybe you can blame them for harshing everybody's mellow, but... nah. Let's face it: put some striped shirts on these assholes, and this is what the Lower East Side looks like every Saturday at 3am.
